In season and out of season we must proclaim the wonderful message of the Gospel.
The best method is the gospel in its purity. The weapon with which the Lord conquers men is the truth as it is in Jesus. The gospel will be found equal to every emergency; an arrow which can pierce the hardest heart, a balm which will heal the deadliest wound. Preach it, and preach nothing else. Rely implicitly upon the old, old gospel. You need no other nets when you fish for men. Those your Master has given you are strong enough for the great fishes, and have meshes fine enough to hold the little ones. Spread these nets and no others, and you need not fear the fulfilment of His Word, “I will make you fishers of men.” (The Soul-Winner by Charles Haddon Spurgeon)
The RFM team is just home from 3 weeks in Congo Brazzaville where we preached a clear Gospel message. We held 2 crusades one in KOMBO LA TELE 25th to 29th January 2012 and one in the South of the city MAKELEKELE SPORTIVE CENTER 1st to 5th February 2012. The response was wonderful almost the entire crowd came forward to the altar; many were deeply moved and repented of their sin. After two weeks of hearing the good news the man that was driving us was deeply moved as he heard a message on the cross. He testified how he cried tears; The Holy Spirit had made it so real to Him. But what was remarkable to see how the truth of the Word of God dissolved his questions, softened his heart and he came back to the Lord as he had been a backslider. On the last day he told us you have come just for me. A life changed and washed by the blood of the Lamb, another one to join that great multitude standing before the Lamb of God.
Brazzaville is one of the most secular cities in Africa we have ever been to. Matthew 4:16 the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.” A standard of the Word of God was preached, hearts rejoiced at the Truth, the lost were saved and the sick were healed. There is much that still needs to be done in Brazzaville. In God’s timing we will return to reach more of the spread out city for Christ.
