The Apostle Paul wrote to the Church at Philippi in Philippians 1 v 3-5 "I thank my God upon every remembrance of you always in every prayer of mine for you...for your fellowship in the gospel.  This word fellowship also can be translated partnership. God has designed partnership so that the body of Christ can fulfil His purposes together.  Paul knew that he could not minister the Gospel alone but knew when he came together with the Church at Philippi they could accomplish something that neither of them could do alone.  This is God's plan.
