Technical Team broken down in Uganda.
On the return journey from Rwanda our big truck began to have clutch problems. We managed to find a mechanic and replace the clutch plate and get the pressure plate skimmed. A huge job considering where the team had broken down. After a couple of hours on the road the “new” clutch again burnt out! We can only assume that as this was not an original clutch, that the refurbished clutch was relined with poor materials and simply did not last. Please join us in prayer to find a good quality and correct spare part and get it fitted again. At this moment it is not possible to move on.
The original spare part is available only in Europe. We are now working on an immediate solution to get the truck back to Nairobi . Of course later we will have to do all these repairs with original spares.
What we need now is to find a good mechanic- the right spares- strength for the team- then that everything would be refitted and the team move on to Nairobi.
Please agree with us in prayer for God’s solution and help.
Roger & Shireen.
