Our Truck was designed for war and originally earmarked for Col Kaddafi’s army.  Years ago when CFaN was transporting their huge tent around these trucks were purchased at an auction.  The truck carried the Gospel tent around Africa till the mid eighties.   Once the tent era was over we bought one of them from CFaN.  It’s been an amazing vehicle going where most vehicles could not go.  In the early years going into Sudan we would often drive in water almost up to the doors!  The truck just pressed on. Almost unstoppable.  We would often climb steep hills seeing more modern trucks stuck unable to proceed.  Every time we came to difficult areas our powerful winch would clear the road pulling out dozens of vehicles stuck in the mud up to their axles.  In all this time we did very few actual repairs.  This is the first year we have had to do significant work on the truck. We found an excellent supplier for spare parts in South Africa and have fitted a complete new clutch .  Services the gearbox.  Replaced shock absorbers.  Can you imagine shock absorbers lasting over 20 years in these conditions!  I think this has more to do with the Lords keeping power than the quality of the spares.

Well we still have a handful of repairs that still need doing.  One of them is to fit a hydraulic suspension seat!   We need a new seat anyway so we may as well get one that will protect the back of our driver!   Perhaps you may like to sow into keeping the Gospel wheels turning.  If so please contact us.
